Adrian Toroslu is a research associate at the School of International Business at Hochschule Bremen and is simultaneously pursuing a PhD at the department of Human Geography and Spatial Planning at Utrecht University.
Before starting his position in 2020, he received his MSc in Sociology and Social Research at Utrecht University. His master thesis examined the dynamics of negative relationships between pupils, with a focus on relationship decisions based on triadic and ethnic considerations. The final paper was later published in the journal Social Networks.
His current work and research focuses on value capture in open innovation activities, i.e., innovation projects characterized by the presence of multiple actors working together on an innovation.
