EUROPEAN CAMPUS, A LIVING LAB

What is [a European] campus — as a space for shared learning, collaboration, and transformation within the STARS EU alliance?
This STARS Talk presents Ou(te)r Campus, an interdisciplinary project developed in the summer semester 2025 within the Interspace Living Lab in Bremen. Building on the results from 2025, the project now continues as a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) taking place from April to July 2026, inviting students from all nine partner universities to co-create ideas and prototypes for a shared European campus. The session will provide insights into the project’s first outcomes and discuss how such formats can contribute to a more connected, creative, and participatory European University.

About STARS Talks: This format of knowledge exchange and interaction is organised by our Challenge Lab. Its monthly webinars will discuss different initiatives based on science, knowledge and innovation that can be useful or inspiring for the development of our regions. Each webinar will include a short dissertation on the chosen topic by the guest speaker, and afterwards the session will be open for dialogue and interaction.
