CV

Before starting my position as a professor at Hochschule Bremen in 2020, I worked as an assistant professor, focussing on marketing and innovation, at Utrecht University School of Economics in the Netherlands. Prior to that, I worked in Germany as a research associate at the Institute for Learning and Innovation in Networks at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and was an external PhD candidate at the Innovation Studies Section within the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University.

For my masters degree I studied communications, politics and sociology at the University of Münster (GER) and the University of Leicester (UK). I then worked for ten years in corporate communications and marketing at different institutions, such as the start-up of a private, international university, a port authority and a communications agency, before returning to higher education to work as a lecturer and a researcher at different universities of applied sciences in Germany.
