Information for Lecturers
Through workshops, seminars, advisory services and (media) teaching projects, the Centre for Teaching and Learning (ZLL) offers you a platform for exchange and continuous methodological and didactic development of your teaching skills.
Are you new to teaching? Or have you been teaching for a long time and want to change your teaching style? Would you like to make your teaching more active and try out new methods? Would you like to approach the topic of ‘exams’ differently than usual? Would you like to exchange ideas with other teachers from other disciplines?
The task of the LehrePlus department at the ZLL is to promote good teaching at Hochschule Bremen – City University
of Applied Sciences. Teachers (professors, lecturers for special tasks, contract lecturers) can obtain (further) qualifications through our university and media didactics training courses, take advantage of our wide range of advisory services and participate in our collegial exchange.
In addition, the LehrePlus team supports you in the development of new and existing degree programmes and the development of innovations in teaching.
Our offerings currently include workshops on university and media didactics, an introductory programme for all new teachers, andthe Day of Teaching and Learning where we invite participants to share their experiences.
LehrePlus offers various free workshops to help you prepare and support your teaching. These are open to all HSB teaching staff (including contract lecturers). Most of our workshops take place during the lecture-free periods. During the lecture period, we also offer shorter training courses on current topics.
A special feature are the English courses and English offerings for teachers. These are run by the Language Centre of the Universities in the State of Bremen. They are open to all teachers, but there is a fee.
Click on the categories below for more information about the workshops and to register.
In the information centre, you will find handouts and publications as well as information on current trends in higher education and media didactics. We are pleased to provide you with a platform offering information and inspiration on the topic of teaching.
We are available to answer any questions you may have about teaching at HSB. We not only offer support with specific issues, but also individual advice on how to structure your teaching. We also welcome feedback and suggestions.
