Studying doesn't just take place in the degree programme – it's worth taking a look outside the box! Here you will find a spectrum of seminars, workshops, modules as well as support and advisory services for all HSB students.

Do you want to learn together with students from other degree programmes at HSB? Are you interested in a special mentoring project in the STEM field? Are you interested in additional language courses? StudiumPlus

StudiumPlus (information only available in German) Workshops, modules, counselling - you can benefit in various ways from our offers.
They range from personal development and mindfulness, academic writing, learning and communication to software and courses conducted in English - to name a few.

makeMINT

makeMINT (information only available in German) makeMINT is a free mentoring programme for female first-year students in science and technology Bachelor's programmes at HSB. In the first two semesters, you can book a mentor from a higher semester as your personal contact person. In addition, we organise joint visits to subject-related events, such as the Hanover Fair, and interdisciplinary meetings with students from other degree programmes and experts from the field. Language centre

Language Centre of the Universities in the Land of Bremen The "Sprachenzentrum der Hochschulen im Land Bremen (SZHB)", or "Language Centre of the Universities in the Land of Bremen" to give its English name, is a joint institution of the four public universities in the federal state of Bremen: the University of Bremen, Hochschule Bremerhaven (HSBHV), Hochschule Bremen (HSB) and Hochschule für Künste (HfK).
