Research cluster Region im Wandel

Die Folgen des Klimawandels erfordern neue Strategien für die Planung und Umsetzung von Bauprojekten, die den Ressourcenschutz in den Mittelpunkt stellen, und die dazu beitragen die Trennung zwischen Theorie und Praxis zu überwinden. Gemeinsam mit Studierenden soll anhand eines real und eigenhändig umzusetzenden Projektes untersucht werden, inwieweit der konsequente Einsatz von Sekundärmaterialien und das kreislaufgerechte Mitdenken des Rückbaus die Arbeitsweise von Architekt:innen und anderen Planungsbeteiligten verändern: die Studierenden entwickeln im SoSe 2023 einen mobilen und unkompliziert auf- und abbaubaren Arbeitsunterstand, den sie im Folgesemester eigenhändig realisieren. Mit dem DesignBuild-Ansatz wird die Lehre an der School of Architecture Bremen (SoAB) um einen wertvollen Methodenbaustein erweitert, den es dort in dieser Form bisher noch nicht gibt, und der die Chance einer realitätsnahen Architekturausbildung bietet.
