Advice and Support
We live internationality: on the HSB campus you will meet people from all parts of the world. Every year, numerous students from abroad come to Bremen to spend a semester abroad, complete a full degree programme or take part in the Summer School.
HSB helps you to arrive in Germany, the counselling teams support you if you have any problems, and at numerous events you can get tips, make contacts and simply have fun.
Even if things don't go smoothly, we won't let you down. If you don't know who to turn to, feel free to contact the Central Student Advisory Service.
The same general deadlines and conditions apply to international applicants as to applicants with a German higher education entrance qualification.
The Central Student Advisory Service advises international students and prospective students on all questions concerning studying at HSB. But it is not only questions about study content or admission requirements that play an important role: we also support you in all other areas of life during your stay in Germany.
In-person advising hours for international students are on Mondays from 10:00 to noon (Campus Neustadtswall, Room AB 111).
You can also contact us outside these hours with your questions or request for an appointment via e-mail at study@hs-bremen.de.
Once a month, Café International invites refugee, international and German students to meet in a relaxed atmosphere. Besides music, food and games, there is a chance to make new contacts and learn about other cultures.
Studying as an international student can be both exciting and challenging. Key Connections is a place for international students at the HSB to share about those exciting and challenging experiences with other international students and get support from people who are experiencing similar things.
Helping Hands is an Instagram Account for degree-seeking international students who are looking for tips about studying at Hochschule Bremen and for life in Bremen in general.
Degree-seeking international students are international students who will complete their entire degree at HSB, as opposed to exchange students who only study at HSB for one or two semesters.
