Informationstechnische Geräte erzeugen prinzipbedingt während des Betriebes elektromagnetische Abstrahlungen. Diese Abstrahlungen können sensitive Informationen enthalten, welche von unberechtigten Angreifern mit geeigneten Empfangsinstrumenten aufgefangen und rekonstruiert werden können. Die Prinzipien der kompromittierenden Abstrahlung und deren Abschirmung sind international unter dem Begriff TEMPEST bekannt. Ziel dieses Vorhabens ist die Entwicklung eines zweistufigen Systems bestehend aus einem automatisiertem Nahfeld-Messsystem mit nachgelagerter Signalverarbeitung zur detaillierten Charakterisierung und Analyse kompromittierender Abstrahlung. Das Gesamtsystem erstellt ein umfassendes „Lagebild“ der untersuchten IT-Geräte hinsichtlich Abstrahlcharakteristik, Art und Umfang der Informationen. Diese tiefgreifende Analyse ist einzigartig in dem Marktsegment der europäischen EMV-Prüflabore, die über eine behördliche Autorisierung zur Messung und Eingrenzung dieser kompromittierenden Abstrahlung verfügen. Das vorgeschlagene innovative Verfahren dient so der Entwicklung von neuen Produkten und Dienstleistungen der DSI Datensicherheit GmbH.
