Datenschutz geht nicht ohne Datensicherheit. Diese Erkenntnis führt dazu, dass IT-rechtliche Sachverhalte praxisgerecht nicht ohne das notwendige technische Know-how betrachtet und bewertet werden können. In der klassischen universitären juristischen Ausbildung wird die Recht-Technik-Interaktion jedoch nur unzureichend und bisweilen gar nicht abgebildet. Im Clusterprojekt „Legal Lab“ soll daher der Ansatz einer forschungseinrichtungsübergreifenden studentischen Patenschaft zwischen der Informatik und den Rechtswissenschaften in Kooperation von Hochschule Bremen (Fakultät 4) und Universität Bremen (Fachbereich 6 Rechtswissenschaften) begründet werden. In gemeinsamen Sitzungen erarbeiten hierbei Student:innen beider Forschungseinrichtungen an der HSB vor Ort gemeinsam technische Fallbeispiele und Fragestellungen, wobei jeder HSB-Studierende die Patenschaft für eine:n Jurastudent:in übernimmt. So können die Student:innen nicht nur wertvolle Schlüsselkompetenzen erwerben, sondern es wird auch das gegenseitige Verständnis und die unerlässliche RechtTechnik-Interaktion gefördert und wertvolle interdisziplinäre Kontakte entwickelt. Die HSB-Studierenden können sich den Kurs mit CP im Rahmen eines AKI-Moduls anrechnen lassen.
