Das Projekt „Begleitforschung bürgerschaftlicher Erdwärmenetze als Initiativen sozialer Innovation“ (Begleitforschung Erdwärme) untersucht die Potenziale einer gemeinwohlorientierten und erneuerbaren Nahwärmeversorgung. Dieses Konzept wird gegenwärtig von bürgerschaftlichen Initiativen in Bremen verfolgt, die damit einen entscheidenden Beitrag zu einer sozial gerechten und klimaneutralen Wärmeversorgung leisten wollen. Das Projekt soll dieses Ziel unterstützen, in dem es 1) in einer Panelveranstaltung die bestehenden Erfahrungen mit genossenschaftlichen Wärmenetzen und der Nutzung von Erdwärme im urbanen Raum thematisiert, 2) die Handlungsbedingungen der Bremer Initiativen aufarbeitet, um diese Erfahrungen auch für andere Akteur:innen zu dokumentieren, sowie Lernprozesse zu initiieren, und 3) die Weiterentwicklung des Ansatzes der Bremer Initiativen aktiv unterstützt. Das Projekt ist als Lehrforschungsprojekt konzipiert und soll in das Projektstudium des MSc Interdisziplinärer Studiengang Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement (INA) eingebunden werden.
