Lecture series Facets of Sustainability - Lecture "The crystallization of the landscape - Museum facility Osterholz " on 13.07.2022

As part of the lecture series Facets of Sustainability/12, students from the School of Architecture Bremen and the Bremen University of the Arts will present the results of the teaching and transfer project "The Crystallization of the Landscape - Osterholz Museum Site" today at 5:30 p.m. in room S12 in the AB Building (Neustadtswall 30, 28199 Bremen).

The museum complex Osterholz in Osterholz-Scharmbeck unites four museums on the topics of moor, homeland, landscape, bird life on the area of an old monastery. In the teaching and transfer project "OUTER_SPACE_DIE KRISTALLISATION DER LANDSCHAFT" (OUTER_SPACE_ THE CRYSTALIZATION OF LANDSCAPE), a wide range of ideas, concepts and visions emerged in the summer semester of 2022 as to what role the museum complex on the edge of the Hammen lowlands and thus at the interface between landscape space and the city should play in the future - developed by students of the cooperation project Outer_Space of the master's degree courses in Architecture / Environmental Design of the School of Architecture Bremen at the Bremen University of Applied Sciences (HSB) and Integrated Design of the Bremen University of the Arts (HfK).

The collaboration is sponsored by the Association of Friends and Sponsors of the Museum Complex and the North German Bird Museum Osterholz and supported by the District of Osterholz and it is created with funds from the research cluster "Region im Wandel" of the University of Applied Sciences Bremen.

Lecturers: Prof. Ulrike Mansfeld (HSB), Prof. Dr. Christian von Wissel (HSB), Prof. Monique Jüttner (HSB), Theis Janssen (HSB), Prof. Tanja Diezmann (HfK) and Prof. Detlef Rahe (HfK).
