Kognitive Landkarten

Inhalt

Inhalte, die als Bereiche bzw. Fixpunkte eines Raumes/einer Landschaft zeichnerisch dargestellt werden, können von Betrachter:innen wesentlich besser erfasst, in Zusammenhängen verstanden und gemerkt werden, als in Text- oder Diagrammform präsentierte Inhalte.

 

Kognitive Räume werden beispielsweise in Mnemotechniken wie dem „Gedächtnis-Palast“ verwendet, um die Gedächtnisleistung zu erhöhen. Kognitive Landkarten nutzen die räumliche Vorstellungskraft des Menschen, um Themen nachhaltig im Gedächtnis zu verankern. Als Struktur gebende Elemente kommen u. a. topographische Karten, Mind-Maps und Concept-Maps zum Einsatz. Mind-Maps eignen sich vor allem zur assoziativen Annäherung an ein Thema. Concept-Maps strukturieren und clustern Inhalte gezielt.

In diesem Workshop erlernen die Teilnehmenden, Lerninhalte zu visualisieren. Die Kognitiven Landkarten werden auf großformatigen Postern mit Filzstiften und Wachsblöcken angelegt. Die Methode ist auf digitales Zeichnen übertragbar. Grundlage ist die fliplance®-Visualisierungsmethode, die ihren Fokus auf die Aktivierung von Aufmerksamkeit, Wahrnehmung und Gedächtnis legt.

Zielsetzung

Nach Besuch der Veranstaltung sollen die Teilnehmenden in der Lage sein, Kognitive Landkarten für die Lehre professionell zu gestalten.
