Angewandte Freizeitwissenschaft studieren!

Der bundesweit einzigartige „Internationale Studiengang Angewandte Freizeitwissenschaft“ an der Hochschule Bremen hat die Freizeit in all ihren Facetten zum Gegenstand. In unserer Gesellschaft kommt der Freizeit ein immer größerer Stellenwert zu, von Medienkonsum, über Sport bis zu Abenteuertouren in entlegene Winkel der Welt.

Im Studium werden Sie jedoch nicht zu bloßen Freizeitorganisator:innen ausgebildet. Vielmehr lernen Sie, das Thema Freizeit aus wirtschaftlichen, ökologischen, pädagogischen und gesellschaftlichen Perspektiven zu betrachten. In Praxisprojekten entwickeln Sie beispielsweise barrierefreie Stadtrundgänge, Eventkonzepte oder nachhaltige Tourismusangebote. Im Auslandssemester können Sie ihre erworbenen Kenntnisse vertiefen.

Die Einsatzfelder nach Ihrem Abschuss sind vielfältig, ob bei einer Eventagentur, in einer Tourismusdestination oder Kultureinrichtung, bei einem Sport- oder Reiseveranstalter. In sieben Semestern erlernen Sie umfassende Kompetenzen für unterschiedlichste Freizeitfelder weltweit.

Zudem ist die Aufnahme eines weiterführenden Masterstudiums bis hin zu einer Promotion möglich.
