Dual Study Programme Business and Administrative Informatics B.A.

You’ve always had a fascination for IT, but studying computer science doesn’t really appeal to you? You would prefer to work on the development of digitalisation strategies in the area of public administration or business? You want ‘more’ than a vocational training, but think classic degree studies are too theoretical for you? Then the dual study degree programme in Business Informatics and Administrative Informatics is just right for you.

  • Prior to enrolment at the HSB you must obtain a firm contract for vocational training with a company or a public body with which the Hochschule Bremen has concluded a cooperation agreement for the implementation of the degree programme.

The cooperative degree programme Business Informatics and Administrative Informatics B. A. offers you a close link between theory and practice through cooperation with practice partners and working on case studies in lectures.

As a student of the cooperative degree programme, you will build up competences in the field of management and administrative law, while gaining insights into the world of IT and acquiring key competences in addition to knowledge in specialized subjects and methods:

  • Sound technical and methodological knowledge
  • Application orientation and practice reference
  • Scientific approach
  • Ability to think analytically, conceptually, and methodically
  • Communication skills and teamwork
