Jula Eichhorn is studying in the International Degree Programme in Political Management B.A. and is involved as a student ambassador and Chair of the Student Board of the STARS EU university alliance.The abbreviation stands for Strategic Alliance for Regional Transition European University. In September, Eichhorn took part in the European Universities Student Ambassador Forum (EUSAF) in Warsaw.
“I’m grateful for the chance to connect with student reps who share similar challenges and a strong belief in the European idea. As a STARS EU ambassador, EUSAF reminded me to focus on what matters most to students—career perspectives and improving student life through events. I realized we can also become door-openers to the alliance for students by understanding their interests.
I now better understand the socio-political dimension of Erasmus+, which supports socially engaged students in their communities. I’m excited to stay connected with EUSAF and promote STARS EU at my home university while networking with the local Erasmus Student Network (ESN) group.”
