Prof. Dr. Tim Goydke appointed President of the Hamburg School of Business Administration (HSBA)

Prof. Dr. Tim Goydke will take on new tasks from October 2023. The University Council of the Hamburg School of Business Administration (HSBA) has appointed the academic director of the Graduate & Professional School and Professor of Japanese Economy and Society at the School of International Business from the City University of Applied Sciences (HSB) as President from October 1st 2023.

HSB President Prof. Dr. Karin Luckey congratulates Prof. Dr. Tim Goydke warmly and wishes him all the best and every success in his new position. For the period of his presidency, Prof. Dr. Tim Goydke is on leave from his activities at the HSB. With his expertise and many years of commitment, Tim Goydke has made a special contribution to HSB and helped shape and enrich its development. The Applied Business Languages and International Management program, with a focus on Japan, has been developed in the last 18 years by Prof. Dr. Tim Goydke into one of the leading addresses in Germany for the economy and society of Japan. The Scientist has rebuilt the Graduate & Professional School together with the board of directors in recent years and developed it into a regionally and internationally recognized institution that plays a leading role in scientific further education.
