Pioneering Sustainability: Unveiling Innovations at HSB's Sustainable Business and Entrepreneurship Poster & Pitch Event

As the highlight of the successful Bremen Sustainable Businesses - Poster & Pitch Event held on January 8th at Hochschule Bremen, master candidates from the newly introduced course “Sustainable Business and Entrepreneurship” (SBE) showcased innovative solutions and their steadfast commitment to sustainability. This not only fostered engaging discussions and valuable networking opportunities but also provided a glimpse into future initiatives that are poised to shape the global business landscape in Bremen and beyond.

We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable success of the Poster & Pitch Event for Bremen's Sustainable Businesses - an initiative jointly organized by the Bremen Foreign Business Club and Hochschule Bremen - City University of Applied Sciences. This event, embedded within the Project GlobalReady and held on January 8th at Hochschule Bremen, unfolded as an integral component of the master’s program in Sustainable Business and Entrepreneurship.

During the event, students showcased their innovative solutions tailored to address the specific challenges confronted by established and emerging companies in the global arena. Noteworthy contributors to this occasion included esteemed companies like Scribbling Seeds, Hatched, and Coracle, actively engaging with the master’s students by providing valuable input and expertise. The presentations not only offered deep insights but also reflected a profound commitment to sustainable business practices.

The event's dynamic atmosphere was further enriched by engaging discussions and networking opportunities, which resonated well with the diverse group of attendees. The collaborative efforts of students, industry partners, and guests contributed to the success of the event, fostering an environment that celebrated innovation, sustainability, and meaningful connections.

We greaty thank all our attendees, speakers, partners, and the incredible teams from Coracle, Deutsche Vermögensberatung, hatched, Scribbling Seeds UG, our academic partner Saikiran Krishnamoorthy from Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) and Constructor University and the phenomenal Anna Heines from the Foreign Business Club of Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen - whose passion for sustainable business solutions ignited the stage and inspired all.

A heartfelt thank you to all our industry and academic experts who were an integral part of this remarkable event: Tamim Fannoush - Samawat GmbH , Prof. Dr. Aseem Kinra - Chair for Global Supply Chain Management, Universität Bremen, Salman Farooqi - MEGA PLASTICS GmbH, Dr. Monika Blaschke - Director - HSB Career Service, Shitao Cao - CEO of Hansa Akademic für Bildung, Prof. Dr. Martin Holi - School of International Business, Mr. Nebojsa Djukic and Pranay B. Kandekar who joined us on this event for active engagement in discussions and networking opportunities with each other and with the SBE Master candidates.

With the collaborative event of Bremen's sustainable businesses, we are looking forward for more updates on upcoming initiatives and events aimed at shaping the future of global businesses in Bremen. This event was organised under the DTX supported project GlobalReady and All-Set by Prof. Dr. Mayank Kumar Golpelwar, Antony Vincent, Priyanka Mitruka and Maren Ehrlichmann who are always to assist with any inquiries regarding the event.
