Exhibition of the artist OFFBEAT in the studio of RE.MATERIAL until 12.08.22

In the open studio of RE.MATERIAL plastic wall objects of the Hamburg artist OFFBEAT are shown in the context of an art exhibition. For the art objects materials were used, which were left over in the construction process and thus saved from disposal. By reshaping, coating and assembling, the logic of circular construction was applied. The art objects convey a symbolism of a climate and socially just construction method through a resource-saving use of materials.

The works of the artist OFFBEAT are directly related to building culture and sustainable architecture. They convey the effect of architecture on us humans and how humans affect architecture.
At the same time, the works encourage an unconventional but responsible approach to create truly contemporary architecture with a positive impact for a sustainable world.

OFFBEAT lives and works in Hamburg, Germany. The basis of his artistic work lies in a degree in architecture and activities in renowned offices. In the focus of his work are topics around building culture and sustainable architecture.
