The "EMSS Industry Week 2025" started on Monday, June 30th and will take place till Fr, Jul 4th as part of the international double degree Master's programme "Engineering and Management of Space Systems" (EMSS) and as part of the DAAD Eastern partnerships with the partner university Technical University of Gdánsk, Poland.
For this purpose, 28 students from the EMSS run 2025 and 3 colleagues from the Technical University of Gdánsk arrived at the Bremen University of Applied Sciences (HSB). During this week, the students can gain a good overview of the HSB and Bremen, especially considering the conditions and expectations for the upcoming winter semester on site HSB.
On Tuesday, July 1st a Get Together at HSB FreiRAUM invites all guests, involved colleagues and former EMSS students to get to know each other.
In addition to discussions on finalizing contracts, the organization of studies and working out possible topics for further teaching and research collaboration, visits to laboratories and companies (Airbus, Ariane Group, Center of Applied Space Technology and Microgravity (ZARM), Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), ECOMAT, German Aerospace Center (DLR) and OHB SE) will take place. A historical tour of Bremen's city center will round off the week's program.
This format started 2024 within the first official run of EMSS and is planned as an annual event within the double degree program to introduce Bremen's space related industry to students and lecturers.
