PLEASE NOTE: Due to budget constraints, unfortunately no summer schools or short-term mobility programs that are not classified as blended intensive programs (group mobility) or take place in the STARS EU context can be funded in the 2024 and 2025 projects.
Short-term programmes are one to four-week courses offered by a higher education institution, usually during the lecture-free period in summer. Hence the term summer school. However, there are also programmes that take place in winter or spring (Winter or Spring School). These programmes can be organised by higher education institutions and offer students the opportunity to study a specific topic, learn a new language or acquire new skills. Summer schools and short-term programmes can be a good way to gain international experience and meet students from other countries. Participation in a Summer School can be supported by an Erasmus+ grant if it includes a compulsory virtual part. Erasmus funding will only support the period abroad.
More information on short-term mobility and the range of summer schools in 33 European countries can be found on the European Commission's „European Area of Education“ website.
