Hardship provision for applications
In order to increase the chance of being accepted to a university place, disabled and chronically ill applicants who are in an exceptional health situation can, among other reasons, submit a hardship application. Proof and/or recognition of the illness by the pension office or by a doctor is not sufficient for the hardship application to be approved. A report from a specialist doctor is required, which contains evidence that a waiting period is not reasonable or acceptable.
What requirements must be fulfilled for a hardship application?
Tendency for the disease or disability to get more severe
Achieving a successful professional (re)integration through the desired degree program
Restricted field of work due to illness or disability
Leaving your previous job/studies for health reasons
Unreasonable disadvantage compared to healthy individuals, because illness- or disability-related limitations make it impossible to pass the waiting period
You can only submit your hardship application via the Campino applicant portal!
