Strasbourg Two - Shores / Exhibition from 17 - 25.02.22 / Lecture evening on 17.02.22

"Strasbourg Two - Shores" is a study project by ENSAS Strasbourg and the Bremen University of Applied Sciences on the redesign of one of Europe's largest inland ports. Prof. Dominik Neidlinger and Pascale Marion from the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Strasbourg will speak at the opening of the exhibition on 17 February 2022 at 7 pm. The exhibition from 17 February 2022 - 25 February 2022 at the Institut français Bremen shows projects by students of ENSAS and the School of Architecture Bremen.

The Strasbourg/Kehl model region includes one of Europe's largest inland ports. As in the case of many other large French cities located on rivers, the planned transformation of an industrial site represents a currently exemplary urbanisation. The special attraction here lies in the close link across the Rhine between the (Weinbrenner) town of Kehl with its small-town character and the metropolitan region of Strasbourg. Ideally, a tram connects the centres of both cities within 20 minutes. Prof. Dominik Neidlinger and architect Pascale Marion from the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Strasbourg will give a lecture at the opening about the plans for "Strasbourg Two - Uferr", a project that is undoubtedly exciting for Bremen's port development. The exhibition at the Institut français Bremen shows projects by students of ENSAS and the School of Architecture Bremen.

A joint project by Prof. Dominik Neidlinger, Pascale Marion (ENSAS) and Prof. Clemens Bonnen, Prof. Klaus Schäfer, Tutors: Christin Albrecht, Nina Möllering (SoAB).
