Concurrent engineering (CE) is a methodological approach in systems engineering in which all engineering phases are performed simultaneously within interdisciplinary teams, rather than sequentially in teams separated by a discipline.
This approach contributes to shorter development cycles, reduction of costs, and improvement of quality through early integration. With this workshop we want to strengthen the international community involved in concurrent engineering in the space domain and those interested in the topic. The respective CE processes as well as the learning experience of the students will benefit from the open exchange we envision for the workshop.
