Internationality
(Media) Computer Science projects are increasingly being planned, developed and carried out in a globalised manner. The goal of the study-abroad semester is authentic experience with related teaching and research in the professional and practical field of media information technology.The stay abroad should be one (to two) semesters in duration, however may only be begun after completion of the fourth semester. Academic work to be completed abroad will be agreed upon by the student, the Bremen University of Applied Sciences and the foreign university and set out in a “Learning Agreement” – completed credits will be added to those earned at the Bremen University of Applied Sciences.
Financial support for periods abroad may be provided by the European Union Development Programme as well as the foreign German Student Financial Support (BaföG) programme.
