Wireless LAN
At the Hochschule Bremen there is Wireless LAN available. Supported are the IEEE norms 802.11g and 802.11n.With a valid HSB account, you can use the network with SSID "eduroam". This network uses the 802.1x access. Eduroam (EDUcation ROAMing) is the roaming infrastructure used by the international research and education community.
Being part of eduroam allows you to access a wireless network at a visited institution, which is also connected to eduroam, simply using the same account (username and password) you use for our campus WLAN. The username of the RZ-account has to be extended to "username@hs-bremen.de".
