Interdisciplinary series of lectures
The course has a strong practical orientation. This is evident even from the entry requirements. Applicants must have a vocational business qualification (the German ‘Kaufmann’), other equivalent vocational qualifications are also accepted.
MiH also places special emphasis on trade-related issues. The lectures are supplemented by an interdisciplinary series of lectures. Congresses on topical issues in trade and retail management pursue the same objective.
The course also incorporates an internship (5th semester) which can take the form of an integrated semester abroad as well.
The course’s special relation to trade and retail management is characterised by the Conzen Foundation. Information on the Foundation and the topics of the award-winning ‘Diplom’ theses are available in German under the heading ‘Preis der Conzen-Stiftung’ on the German version of this website.
