The International Component
Internationality is an integral component of much of the teaching in the International Degree Programme in Tourism Management. In courses and lectures such as International Business Relations, International Business Law, International and Cross-Cultural Management, Tourism Management, Tourism in the international development cooperation, topics related to tourism, culture, law and economics are discussed and dealt with in the international context.
Moreover, many of these courses and lectures are attended by international exchange students and their participation enhances the international aspect and the quality of the courses and lectures.
In addition, the compulsory year abroad emphasizes the international orientation of the Degree Programme in Tourism Management. ISTM students have the opportunity to study all over the world at one of more than 60 partner universities of the School of International Business (SIB).
