Relevance to Practice
The practical application of the International Bachelor's programme in Imaging Physics is ensured by the choice of teaching content, the type of courses and lectures, which normally include a laboratory practicum, as well as by the use of university lecturers with practical experience. Moreover, the Bachelor's theses, because of close contacts to industry, are co-supervised to a large per cent by local firms or at least influenced by them thematically. In the 7th semester students have to complete an at least 13½-week-long practicum in a company with a sufficiently high level of practical physical-technical applicability. The practicum directly precedes the Bachelor's thesis. As a result it can be used as the starting point for the Bachelor's thesis, which needs to be done in collaboration with a company.
