Career Prospects
The ISGM degree programme combines international management with intercultural management. The year abroad spent in an emerging economy is a key component of the course. Against this background the ISGM course aims to qualify its graduates to grow into various positions in companies, public administration or non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
The mix of subjects in the ISGM programme, the structure of the course itself and the specialist language skills teach students how to take on economic, environmental, political and cultural responsibility in very different cultural situations. A comprehensive ability to operate on a technical, social and intercultural level as well as practical experience abroad in an emerging economy and knowledge of at least two foreign languages provide ISGM students with considerable competitive advantages.
Having successfully completed the Bachelor programme, many ISGM alumni have also decided to go on to take a Master’s degree. It is then possible to do a doctorate.
