You will work with the following book:

The book has to be purchased by the students before the start of the course.
Topics are (amongst others):
family and friends, food and drink, daily routine, times and dates, spare time, weather
Grammar topics include (amongst others):
personal pronouns, prepositions, possessive determiners, articles, accusative case, modal verbs, past tense (haben und sein)
The course comprises 60 teaching hours as live sessions (6 credits). You will also use the learning platform AULIS.
Exchange students and other international students with no prior knowledge of German.

Our courses refer to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
