Become a tutor

As part of fulfilling your contract, you as a tutor are obliged to complete at least two sub-modules amounting to 15 hours.

You can freely choose between basic seminars (T) as an introduction to tutoring and elective seminars (t). If you have no previous experience of didactics, we recommend attending the basic seminars (T).

2 basic (T) + 2 elective seminars (t) + 1 graded examination

Acquiring the tutorial certificate can be very important for your future. You can use it to document the additional skills you have acquired. For this you will need:

• Qualified participation in two basic seminars (T) from the tutorial programme as well as qualified participation in at least two elective seminars (t) within two consecutive semesters.
• You must complete a graded examination in at least one of the four seminars (e.g. term paper, reflection assignment, presentation).

Upon successful and qualified participation, you will receive the tutorial certificate of the Hochschule Bremen with 6 ECTS credits.
