Bremen against Corona
Public offer to get vaccinated against the coronavirus on 25 and 26 October 2022 – no appointment necessary.
On 25 and 26 October 2022 students, staff members, and members of the public can get vaccinated on-campus at Hochschule Bremen
Thanks to the mobile vaccination offer, many people can be reached who would otherwise not have the opportunity to be vaccinated.
The vaccinations will be carried out by a mobile team from the Bremen Vaccination Centre, which initiated the offer.
It is not necessary to register for the vaccination in advance.
The vaccination offer is open to everyone over the age of 12. Please note the following for minors:
The vaccination offer is open to German and international students as well as academic and administrative staff at HSB, and also for citizens of Bremen as well as persons who work in Bremen.
Please note that the interval to the last vaccination must be at least 6 months. In the case of specific pre-existing medical conditions, an interval of 4 months is also possible according to medical assessment. However, this can only be decided by the vaccinator on site. Persons who have had an illness with Covid-19 after their last vaccination must be at least 3 months away from the illness and at least 6 months away from the last vaccination.
For primary and secondary vaccination, Moderna (Spikevax) and Biontech (Comirnaty) vaccines are used, depending on availability. For booster vaccinations, the mRNA vaccine adapted to the coronavirus variant Omikron BA.4-5 is used.
The Robert Koch Institute provides information and forms in English and other languages.
The Paul Ehrlich Institute provides an overview of COVID-19 vaccines licensed in Germany and their corresponding product names in third countries (outside the EU and EEA), see Corona information for Internationals
International students should first enquire whether their vaccinations are recognised in the EU. If not, they can also be vaccinated on the days offered. The mobile vaccination team of the Bremen Vaccination Centre recommends that in this case their last vaccination should have been at least four weeks earlier. Further details can be discussed on site during the medical consultation.
