The project Research Data Management at Bremen University of Applied Sciences (FDM@HSB) invites researchers and all interested parties to an introduction to research data management as part of the new event series “RDM at Noon”!
For researchers, dealing with research data is part of their everyday work. But what exactly does research data management mean and what are the benefits of consciously handling research data for research and researchers? This event aims to familiarize researchers and interested parties with research data management by defining basic concepts and explaining them along the life cycle of research data. Participants will then gain a brief insight into why good research data management is important and what benefits arise for research projects from the implementation of appropriate measures.
Further events are planned for the future that will provide an insight into other areas of research data management, such as data management plans and (long-term) archiving and provision of data.
All those who work in research or are simply interested in what RDM actually is are invited to attend.
