The international component
The "Trade and Retail Management (MiH)” B.A. is an international course at Bremen University of Applied Sciences. It is part of a close network of European and non-European businesses which provide internships for students on the "Trade and Retail Management (MiH)” course. Over 57.5 % of students who have so far completed the "Trade and Retail Management (MiH)” B.A. did their internships in an international context. This reflects the students’ desire to combine an internship abroad with a semester abroad in a field related to their chosen business specialisation. As part of the reaccreditation process which is currently underway it is planned to transform the Trade and Retail Management B.A. into an international course. The first step in this direction will be that all students must complete an internship abroad in the 5th semester as a matter of course.
