Relevance to Practice
The dual, inter-university degree course in information technology includes an initial, professionally-qualifying degree. The course’s practice-oriented and academically rigorous education results from the highly integrated education and training received in a company context, at the commerce school and the Bremen University of Applied Sciences. Students attend commerce school during the first three years of study at the SII Utbremen Educational Centre, the Bremen site for commerce school instruction for all IT occupations. Training at the commerce school during the break period is concentrated (Block), while during in-session periods, training takes place one afternoon per week.Practical Semester and Industry Project in Training Company.
