Associations

In addition to their study, AWS students are involved with non-profit student associations. It is the target of the region related associations to exchange knowledge with representatives of enterprises, institutions or further interested persons related to Asia or the Arabic Region. For that matter cultural, social, economic and scientific topics are highlighted from a practical point of view. The events take place in forums, lectures, panel discussions, movie nights, workshops, photography contests and public information events. The associations are also a basis for an inter-study network, as senior students pass on their responsibility to newly-enroled students. Consequently a vivid exchange between students and alumni is created.

Currently there are the following associations related to AWS actively working at the School of International Business:

China Institute Bremen e.V. (CIB)
