Relevance to Practice
The key to success in the AWS degree programme lies within the strong orientation towards the requirements of the economy. All its lecturers have solid practical experience and a part of the modules are offered by highly qualified temporary lecturers who use their practical business experience. The level of practical application of the degree is regularly deepened through high-class guest lectures from within the economic world.The knowledge gained in the first four semester in the area of business is applied and extended by students in their year abroad. The college is especially interested in a Bachelor thesis drawing directly from professional experience.
Since 1998, together with interested companies, students have organised the AWS forum, which besides stimulating lectures, offers the possibility of forming contacts with people within the economy and of strengthening them.
The alumni network of the AWS course programme also adds towards the maintenance of contacts and the exchange of experience between graduates, lecturers, students and the economy.
