Course Contents

Architecture is offered at the School of Architecture at Bremen University of Applied Sciences as a consecutive study programme consisting of the following courses of study:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• Master’s Degree in Architecture / Environmental Design

The degree in Architecture is oriented around the professional duties of an architect and thereby strives towards the goal of providing a path for the student into the multi-facetted world of architectural creation.
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture:
The intention of the B.A. in Architecture is to graduate with a first degree in the form of a Bachelor of Arts.
Through applied teaching, the degree course should convey a basic knowledge of the core areas of architecture as well as creative/artistic competency and be based upon a scientific/technical foundation.

Students should be provided with the skills to carry out planning assignments, extensive insight into the fields of occupation related to environmental design and structural engineering and develop independent thought and work based on a creative/artistic and scientific/technical foundation.
