Application process for students with a foreign university entry qualification
If you have passed an assessment test at a "Studienkolleg", you can apply directly at HSB:

If you want to apply for a Master degree programme at the International Graduate Center (IGC), you can apply directly on the IGC’s website:

If you want to apply for the Master degree programme "Electronics Engineering M.Sc", you can apply directly on the programme’s website:
→ www.msc-ee.hs-bremen.de
Alle anderen internationalen Bewerber_innen mit einem ausländischen Schulabschluss bewerben sich über uni-assist.


You have to complete your application via uni-assist within the application period (online AND via mail). Your application will be pre-checked by uni-assist. If it meets all requirements, it will then be transferred to HSB to take part in the the allocation procedure.

If your application was successful, you will receive an admission offer from HSB. You will then have to
- accept the admission offer within a week online in CampInO,
- enroll/register online in CampInO,
- and then send your “application for registration” together with the required documents to HSB via mail.

Is my foreign university entry qualification sufficient to start studying in Germany?
During your application, uni-assist will check whether you fulfil all the requirements for studying in Germany. In advance, you can get more information here: The DAAD’s database of admission requirements and the information portal anabin provide information about how foreign school-leaving qualifications are rated in Germany. In anabin, you can also look up how foreign university degrees are rated in Germany.
