The International Office provides services related to study abroad, support for foreign students, and the University's diverse international relationships.Study Abroad: Support for German students Consultation regarding funding available to pursue a course of study or internship abroad: BAFöG, Fulbright Scholarship, DAAD, British Council. InWent etc. Support for foreign students Support and consultation for foreign applicants and students regarding residency and work permits, housing, financial support and course of study. A varied and diverse extra-curricular programme provides an integrated complement (offering sightseeing, the theatre, excursions, informative seminars and celebrations), financial support in some special cases of financial emergency and financial support during the final phase of a course of study. Advancement of international cooperation among universities The International Office supports the various efforts of the University in accordance with its mandate (Sec. 4, Par. 6, Bremen University Act (BremHG)) to further international university cooperation (e.g.: study trips, student exchange, lecturer exchange, guest lectures, guest professorships, research projects).
